Developed by Alexander Lowen, Bioenergetic exercise is a really fun, effective way to get to know yourself better and feel vibrantly alive. It is an excellent adjunct to therapy, and I use some exercises with patients during therapy sessions.

I also teach Bioenergetic exercise classes for anyone interested in getting more grounded, energized, and comfortable in their bodies.  Exercises are designed to bring awareness to and release areas of tension in the body. They're also designed to help you be more grounded while increasing the vibratory state of your body.

Classes include warm-ups, strength training, mobility, expressive movements, vocalizing, and grounding. Most movement is done individually, but sometimes we work with partners. You learn to breathe fully, no matter how challenging the exercise is. I encourage you to be curious about and connect with your emotions during these exercises, as self-discovery and self-expression are integral components. You will develop tolerance for vibration in your body, which helps you tolerate a wider range of emotions, both in and outside of class. People report feeling “charged up”, grounded, productive, and able to focus after participating in the classes. And most importantly, we have fun together!

You don't have to be a patient to experience the potent power of Bioenergetic exercise.

Classes are for anyone who is curious about me or this kind of exercise.

Ned Peck, LCSW and founder of Life Force Therapy

As a former student of Dell Arte and a licensed practitioner of the healing arts I have found these bioenergetic exercises led by Andrea to be profoundly helpful to charge up and start my day of work with increased flow and aliveness. I recommend these classes to any artists, performers, or healers as I suspect you find benefit in your craft.
